Righteousness Imputed

Romans 8:10

Someone has said that the gospel can be preached to any audience because the lost need to hear it and the saints love to hear it. The gospel tells the unsaved that they are lost sinners and cannot earn their salvation but that God offers the free gift of eternal life by His grace. The good news also insures God's people that although their sin still remains in them, they have received the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ by faith and are safe forever.
